Why we need to change our awareness of regional trade to preserve the region.

Whether it's groceries, books or clothing: Many buy online these days.
But global online mail order companies are increasingly neglecting local retailers, are increasingly being forgotten and are struggling hard against online platforms.
In fact, it is becoming increasingly important for local retailers to be able to position themselves in the online segment. This applies to many areas, such as a website, a web shop and social media marketing principles (presence on various channels). If the retailer you're looking for is missing online, it automatically has fewer chances of standing up to influential online shopping portals. As a result, the resistance from retailers is having a strong impact, as interest in “local online shopping” is growing sharply. What is that? Based on the fact presented, this is more about local shopping, supporting regional retailers and their products, and calling for greater customer proximity through an online department store that connects the virtual world with local retailers.
A web agency based in Siegen has taken this situation to heart and founded a project for Siegen and the surrounding area called “Lozuka” — a regional web department store that aims to counteract the problem of international online shopping and at the same time support the region.
